How Event Sharing Works
Share individual events with partners, studios, and co-hosts. Each collaborator manages from their own dashboard — your data, payouts, and other events stay private.
Share
Invite collaborators by email. They get access to one specific event in their own dashboard.
Collaborate
Partners can view sales, handle check-in, and access the guest list for the shared event.
Protect
Your payouts, customer data, and other events remain completely private and inaccessible.
Revoke
Remove access with one click. The event disappears from their dashboard instantly.
How to Set Up
Navigate to Your Event
Open your event in the dashboard and go to the Share tab. This is where you manage all collaborator access for this event.
Enter the Collaborator's Email
Type the email address of the person you want to share with. They don't need an existing account — they'll be prompted to create a free one if needed.
Send the Invitation
Click Share to send the invitation. The collaborator receives an email and the event appears in their own BrightStar dashboard once accepted.
Monitor & Manage Access
View all active collaborators from the Share tab. See who has access, when they were added, and revoke access anytime with one click.
Try It: Share an Event
Walk through the sharing flow to see what you and your collaborator experience.
What Collaborators Experience
Receive Invitation
Email with a link to accept the shared event. Create a free account if needed.
Event in Dashboard
The shared event appears in their own BrightStar dashboard, labeled as “Shared.”
Manage & Check In
View sales, monitor attendance, and scan tickets using the Scanner App.
No Hidden Data
They see only the shared event. Payouts, other events, and customer data are invisible.
Privacy & Access Control
Payout Protection
All revenue flows through your Stripe account. Collaborators never see payout settings, bank details, or transaction-level financials.
Customer Data Isolation
Your mailing list, customer profiles, and purchase history stay private. Collaborators see attendee counts, not customer details.
Event Isolation
Collaborators only see the specific event you share. Your other events, drafts, and past events are completely hidden.
Instant Revocation
Remove a collaborator's access with one click. The event disappears from their dashboard immediately. No password resets needed.
Cross-Account Model
Unlike multi-admin systems, collaborators use their own accounts. No shared passwords, no intra-account role management.
Limited Analytics
Collaborators see ticket counts and check-in numbers for the shared event. Revenue details and conversion data remain yours.
Troubleshooting
Collaborator didn't receive the invitation
Check that you entered the correct email address. The invitation may be in their spam folder. You can resend from the Share tab.
Event not showing in their dashboard
The collaborator needs to accept the invitation first. If they don't have a BrightStar account, they must create one with the same email address.
Collaborator can't access the Scanner App
Make sure they're logged into the Scanner App with the same email address the event was shared to. The shared event will appear in their event list.
Access wasn't fully revoked
Revocation is instant. If the collaborator can still see the event, ask them to refresh their dashboard. Check the Share tab to confirm status shows “Revoked.”
Frequently Asked Questions
